The Community Centre provides a focus for family entertainment and recreation. It is run by the CIC for the benefit of the community. Several local football, pool and darts clubs use it as their base along with a number of other regular users.
The community centre provides a focus for family entertainment and recreation. It is the home several local football, pool and darts clubs. Other regular users of the centre include the Notion Dance Group, Cedars Church and Slimming World.
The large hall and meeting rooms offer affordable venues for parties, conferences, clubs, weddings and business meetings, with a range of catering options tailored to your needs and budget.
The community centre is also the home of The Aviary which is open 6 days a week, Tuesday to Friday 6p.m. – 11p.m, Saturdays 12p.m. - 11p.m., and Sundays 12p.m. - 5p.m., serving classic pub food at great prices (check out The Aviary's page for more info and follow them on their Facebook page). Darts, pool, karaoke and quiz nights are part of The Aviary's regular programme.
